A dedicated truck, every time. Your shipment is the only shipment on the vehicle, it is loaded once in New Jersey and unloaded once at the destination, and there is no terminal transfer in the middle.
Will I get a delivery date or a delivery window?
A specific calendar day, written into the contract. The one-to-fourteen-day window most long-distance quotes carry exists because a shared load waits for the trailer to fill. A dedicated truck does not wait.
Which states do you move to most?
Florida and the Carolinas are the routes we run most, followed by the rest of the East Coast from New England down to Virginia. We also bring people into New Jersey from out of state.
What licensing should an interstate mover have?
USDOT authority and ICC/MC operating authority for household goods, which is separate from a New Jersey state license. Check any mover on the FMCSA SAFER register and look for AUTHORIZED FOR HHG.
What happens if my closing date at the other end slips?
Fresh Start does not operate storage, so we will not pretend we can hold your furniture indefinitely. The walkthrough includes a what-if conversation, and if a gap opens we lay out the options and what each one costs before you commit.
