Moving in Holmdel

What a move in Holmdel actually looks like.

Holmdel is anchored by Bell Works, the reinvented Bell Labs building, and a steady share of the work here is people arriving for a job in it: corporate relocations timed to a start date rather than a closing. The residential side is large lots with long driveways, which is the easiest kind of access we get anywhere. A truck pulls to the door and the carry is short, so crew time goes into the house rather than the walk. Holmdel Park and the western side toward Crawfords Corner are the most established streets, with the mature trees and the low branches that come with them.

Holmdel is part of our Monmouth County coverage, about half an hour from our Wall Township base. We are in Monmouth County multiple times a week, so scheduling stays tight and the same crew loads and unloads — no contractor handoffs.

FAQ

Common questions.

Quick answers to what NJ movers ask most. If yours isn't here, call — we will not put you through an automated phone tree.

Ask us anything

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are NJ Division of Consumer Affairs registered for in-state household-goods moves — NJ Public Movers License #39PM00129400. For interstate work we hold USDOT 3855223 and docket MC-1609840, which you can look up yourself on the FMCSA SAFER registry. Long-distance moves out of NJ are conducted under full FMCSA-compliant household-goods paperwork, bill of lading, and full-value protection. Insurance carries $2M general liability and full-value protection is available on every move. A Certificate of Insurance is issued to your destination building on commercial jobs by default and on residential jobs on request.

How do you price a move?

Most in-state residential moves are quoted as a written estimate after a consultation by video or in person, so you have a number in writing before anything is booked. It is an estimate rather than a binding price, so the final number reflects the job as it actually runs. The walkthrough is what keeps it close. Hourly is available for partial-day jobs and genuinely ambiguous scopes. Long-distance moves are estimated the same way, never by final weight after loading.

Do you handle long-distance and interstate moves?

Yes. Every interstate move uses a dedicated truck — your shipment is the only shipment on the vehicle, loaded once in NJ and unloaded once at the destination. No terminal transfers, no shared loads. Delivery is a specific day in writing, not a 14-day spread. Most-requested routes are NJ-to-Florida and NJ-to-Carolinas.

Do you offer packing services?

Yes. Full-service packing wraps the whole house in 1–2 days; fragile-only is the more common configuration where we handle the kitchen, art, china, and electronics and the homeowner packs closets and books. Materials (boxes, paper, wrap, tape) are included in the packing quote. Unpacking is available as an add-on.

Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance?

Yes. For commercial moves we issue a COI to the destination building by default, naming the property manager as an additional insured if requested. For residential moves we will issue a COI to your HOA or building management on request — typically within one business day of a written request.
