This is the second time that we have used Fresh Start Movers. Christina makes sure that she schedules a date and time for us that conforms with our calendar. Brendan and Curran were wonderful. They made sure that our furniture was secure, completing the job in a more than satisfactory way. I highly recommend Fresh Start Movers to anyone who needs a competent, friendly, and reliable moving company.

Nathan and his team made our move from NJ to FL seamless. I felt I could trust Nathan after interviewing 3 other movers. He came to the house to see what had to be done and thought it would be OK. Believe me it was OK.. They picked up when promised and delivered when promised.. when we got to our building in FL there was an elevator inspection that was unplanned.. the boys were not rattled...they were more thanTerrific! i had a business trip planned and sent my wife to take care of our move.. needless to say I was concerned there was so much that could go wrong. We had an amazing experience with Fresh Start Movers. Christine was amazing and the entire team did a fantastic job!! We made multiple stops from North Jersey to South Jersey dropping off furniture along the way to family and everything was absolutely seamless! We also were in a pinch to move our daughter out of her apartment on short notice and Fresh Start was able to accommodate us. These folks are awesome! From getting a quote from the owner Nathan, to scheduling with Christina, to the crews that come out and do the job, they are all competent, professional, friendly and accommodating. We used them for 3 separate moves during the course of a renovation. One to get the stuff out of the house, and two getting it back in after the reno. Even when we had to reschedule the last move twice, due to unforeseen circumstances, they were completely understanding and rescheduled us at our convenience. Christina is a rock star! The crews (Jim, Felix & Gilberth the last move) who did all the moves were outstanding. Careful, courteous and cognizant of where we wanted things to go, never in a rush to just "empty the truck". Fresh Start Movers recently handled our move from Howell to Manahawkin. They showed up on time and were very efficient in packing and unloading the truck. Jim, Johnny and Curran were very friendly and courteous. The price was also very fair considering how much stuff we had. I would recommend them for your next move.

Where to even start? This company was wonderful! Down to the last person, everyone was simply outstanding. I believe Nathan is the owner. He came to my house when scheduled, provided a very reasonable quote, and was courteous, professional, and helpful the entire time. Christina, who I believe is the office manager coordinated everything from the time of the move to final cost (lower than Nathan's estimate) to making sure the folks at my new apartment had everything they needed. When it came to moving day, the team was on time, and they were meticulous. Everything was treated with such care, and these guys never stopped working. Jim, Parker, and Gilbert were all courteous, professional, and seemingly enjoying themselves at work. I talked to all three of them for a bit, and each person was just as great as the last. I have used different movers in the past. But I will never, ever move without Fresh start again. Thank you so much!!

What an amazing experience with fresh start from the packing to the moving! We can’t thank them enough for making a very difficult move easy and pleasurable. Fresh Start moved us from NJ to GA and it was a great experience. Such a big move was really anxiety producing and we had heard horror stories of long-distance moves gone bad. Nate was honest and informative when he came to give us a quote and not only were their prices competitive, but the reassurance and expertise put at ease and we booked their services. All members of the team were total pros in setting up and executing a complicated move from Ocean County, N.J., to Nantucket, Mass., that required multiple coordinating steps and precise timing, including securing a difficult-to-come-by reservation for a leg of the journey by ferry. Christina made the planning easy. The price was fair. Nathan and his colleagues were careful, courteous, and efficient in packing, loading, and unloading. It’s always a treat to work with people who really know their stuff. Fresh Start qualifies with flying colors. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

*** As an update, I used Fresh Start again on 6/6/26, and reiterate my previous thoughts, as follows: I can't speak highly enough about Fresh Start Movers and my experience with this company moving from Interlaken, NJ to Spring Lake, NJ. I booked a move date in advance with Nathan, the business owner, who personally came to my home to take a look at what was being moved and provided a very accurate quote for my move. On the day of the move Nathan and his crew arrived, he took off and the crew of five WORKED!!! The crew was a group of well mannered, polite, young men and they were fantastic. They strategically packed boxes first, then furniture, then carefully wrapped lamps, odds and ends, etc. This was my first time using a moving company move and it was an absolutely positive experience. The price was reasonable, the service was exceptional and the movers themselves were truly nice, conscientious guys. If you're looking to move in NJ I would highly recommend Fresh Start Movers and think you'd be missing out if you don't at least call them for a quote! FIVE STARS PLUS!!!!

The people that work at this company are all amazing. From Christina in the office going above and beyond to make sure it had all the proper paperwork completed for condo assoc. To Felix and Brandon moving the furniture from the country house to the beach condo, where they set up the furniture. Tony and Alex handled our move. They were beyond exceptional! They arrived early and were extremely respectful and carful with our furniture and property items. They were also very efficient!!! We have moved more than several times and we have had many moving experiences, this by far was the highest quality moving experience we have ever had! The whole process was amazing. Each person was polite, respectful, hardworking and kind. They took great care of our stuff and our family. It was a very long day.. and a whole lot of stuff! If I could give this company 100 stars I would! Nathan came and gave us an estimate that was the best price of all the other estimates we had gotten. We have never used a moving company and truly did not know what to expect but we were blow away by the care and expertise the moving guys Tony and Felix used in handling our home goods. They were on time and finished the job in exactly the time we were quoted they would. So friendly, and very kind when we asked questions or when we asked to add a few more items to the truck. Our furniture and goods arrived in the same shape they were taken out of our house, not one thing wrong! I can not recommend this company enough, they were just amazing from start to finish!

My household needed a move to a local temporary storage facility, and FSM was able to make this happen very easily. I look forward to the next and final phase of relocating within the state using them again. I totally recommend this company for a move! Fresh Start Movers did an amazing job with my local move. Nathan, the owner, came by my home to look over the needs, whereas most companies just issued an estimate based on number of rooms, size, etc. Actual cost even came out slightly lower than the estimate. Josh and Alex were quick, efficient, communicative and overall a pleasure to work with. Everything was wrapped and protected, loaded and quickly unloaded. They even took it upon themselves to help set up the furniture despite approaching the estimated time and me having broke everything down for them prior to their arrival. Great movers, but also friendly, personable guys as well, which made the hectic moving experience that much more tolerable. Won't hesitate to call Fresh Start again!
